What is a custom airbag cover?
Your factory airbag assembly separates into two parts: the metal inflator module and the plastic front cover. A custom airbag cover replaces only the plastic front cover. The inflator module, the part that actually deploys, is never shipped, modified, or replaced: it clips into the new cover exactly as it did in the factory one.
Does it fit a carbon fiber steering wheel?
Yes. Every Zencarbonfiber airbag cover fits both the factory steering wheel and the Zencarbonfiber carbon fiber steering wheel for the same vehicle. When ordered together with a wheel, the cover is built from the same materials and stitching colors so the two match, and it is discounted with the wheel.
